Inspired by this theme, De Poortere has created a new collection of "Vintage sixties" rugs. It shows the surface of cracked ice, and the darkness of the chasm below it. The broken lines are rough- dull in some areas, shiny in others. This fine piece metaculiously hand finished and manufactured to perfection from mechanical jacquard. If that was not enough, the delivered product comes with an anti slip backing, and is breathable, tear-resistant, abrasion-resistant, and comfortable, by the courtesy of cotton-polyester blend that goes into its making.
